The Best Audio For Building Your ACTIVE Spanish Vocabulary

Supercharge Your Spoken Spanish

What's the difference between learning Spanish through active versus passive vocabulary? In fact both are required:
  • Passive vocabulary is what you learn from Spanish courses, from reading books, from listening to Spanish audio tracks, and so on. Spanish speakers naturally use a lot of vocabulary, so the more Spanish you learn, the better you can understand them.
  • Active vocabulary consists of the Spanish words you use when speaking to a Spanish speaker. The bad news is that you won't use as great a variety of words as a native, but the good news is you don't need to - you can get by with a much more basic wordset.
The many excellent Spanish courses on the Internet mainly take a "passive" approach. You are recommended to try as many of these as possible to develop your Spanish learning, particularly those that are free of charge.

The "active" approach requires you to practise speaking the language. This is difficult if you don't live in a Spanish-speaking country, or don't have contact with any Spanish speakers.

If only there were a way to practise speaking Spanish without needing to live in the country or have a lot of Spanish speaking friends!!!!

The Goalpost app provides a 100% active learning experience. The app synthesies random English phrases on the spot, giving you a continuous variety for translating into and speaking in Spanish. It will rapidly develop your confidence in speaking Spanish, which you can do in private, without worrying about making mistakes. All the more impressive when you take your newfound skill out into the world and speak Spanish for real!
